To integrate your Gmail account with the Nexloo platform , follow these detailed steps:

Step 1: Configure Gmail on the Platform

• In the side menu, click “Settings” .

• Select “Inboxes . ” Click “Add Inbox . ”

• Select the “Email” icon .

Fill in the form fields:

• • Channel Name : Enter an identifying name for this integration.

  • Email Address : Enter your Gmail address.

  • Click “Create email channel” .

• Add the agents (team members) who will have access to this inbox and click “Add Agents . ”

Step 2: Set up your inbox

• After creating the tray, click “More settings” .

• In the top menu, select the “Settings” tab .

• Check the “Enable IMAP settings” option .

  ⚠️ Before continuing, log in to your Gmail account in another browser tab to complete the setup.

  

Step 3: Set up Gmail

• In Gmail, click your profile picture (top right corner) and select “Manage your Google Account . ”

• In the side menu, click “Security” .

1. Turn on Two-Step Verification:

 

• Enter your phone number to activate two-step verification.

• • Click “Done”

 

• Once activated, search for “App Passwords” in the Google Account search field.

 

• In “App Name,” enter a meaningful name (e.g., Nexloo) and click “Create . ”

• Copy the generated password (don’t lose it, as it won’t appear again).

Step 4: Configure IMAP on Nexloo

Return to Nexloo and complete the following fields:

• IMAP Server : imap.gmail.com

• Port : 993

• Login : your Gmail address ( [email protected] )

• Password : Paste the password generated by Google

• Click “Update IMAP Settings”

Step 5: Configure SMTP

On the same configuration screen, complete the SMTP section:

• SMTP Server : smtp.gmail.com

• Port : 587

• Login : your Gmail address

• Password : The same password generated by Google

• Domain : smtp.gmail.com
  (other fields can be left unchanged)

• Click “Update SMTP Settings”

Step 6: Test the Integration

Done! Your Gmail integration is active.

1. In the side menu, click on “Conversations” .

2. Select your Gmail inbox.

From now on, every time a client writes to you via Gmail, you and your team can read and respond directly from the Nexloo platform .
